Pilot Pen G2 Boost

Hues to Power You

People are constantly looking for ways to improve their mood throughout the day: to feel more focused, creative, optimistic, or positive.

Most don’t realize that switching the color ink they’re writing with can help them get there - and it’s proven by color science.

We set out to get loyal black-ink users to make the switch to the new G2 Boost color packs by showing how writing in color can change your whole day.

I concepted, directed and designed all materials for this campaign.

Product Launch Event

Before G2 Boost launched to the public, we hosted an event for a select list of influencers to come try the new pens.

We set up stations that for attendees to try the different packs and learn about the science behind writing in color.

I designed all stationary and signage for the event. I also came up with station ideas that showcased the benefits of writing in color.

Posts Recapping Event

Influencer attendees posted about the event, building interest and conversation around the Boost packs.

Product Launch

When it came time to drop the Boost packs to consumers, we kicked it off with a new spokesperson, Color Me Courtney.

Courtney’s content is based around color and their emotional benefits, so it was a perfect match for G2 Boost.

Courtney’s Socials

On her socials, Courtney got more in depth about the science of how writing in different ink colors harness specific moods.

Like how writing in blue makes you more productive

And pink makes you more positive.
